Where do I even start with these two? I’ve know Justine since Kindergarden and I’ve known him since they’ve met. I remember how she used to tell us all about the bread guy at her co-op placement in highschool. How thing have changed. They’ve since bought a home, adopted their sweet Boxer Beverly and now, gotten married.
Since I was part of the wedding party, I was able to gain a different perspective of the day than I usually do. A GIANT shoutout to my girl Kathy for shooting under my brand and officially becoming my first affiliate photographer! She knew how much I needed someone I trust to shoot this day under my brand and, boy, did she deliver!
Zach got ready at his home in Orleans while we got ready at Bean Town. It was really difficult to hold my tears back as we slipped Justine into her gown.
The realization that she was actually getting married hit me then. This funny, generous, kind woman who’s been with me for as long as I can remember is getting her happily ever after with a man who treats her like a princess. Mike, a man who’s home we used to raid for booze and food, got to see his daughter moments before the ceremony and once more, I was brought to tears. He is so damn proud of her and it radiated out of him all day long.
The entire day was filled with laughter, happiness and just plain fun! They had a s’mores bar by the fire as well as a late night poutine bar once the drinks were rolling.
Cheers you two!
